Heartland Crossing Community Day

I just wanted to thank all who was involved with the Heartland Crossing Community Day. I will say that I was a little dissapointed with the turnout, with the fact that we have so many families in Heartland Crossing. I am not sure that I recall that much advertising. Next year maybe a banner could be posted in a high traffic area and signs. Just an idea! I think people tend to forget about the Community clubhouse back at The Commons. I don't think we are reaching out to the Decatur Township side.… Continue

If you go on www.vrbo.com and follow the links to the destin area, then Senic 98 area, then Majestic Sun, you will see all of the condos by owner. You can offer less than what they are renting for. We sent out e-mails to about 25 owners. Some will deal with you. We stayed in a 3 BR condo for $1400(including tax and cleaning) and it should of cost us $2800 plus 11%tax and $150 cleaning fee for 7 nights, and we were in the prime season. It is worth taking the time to send out e-mails. Depending on where you stay on where to eat. I heard the Crab Shack is really good, but we never could get in without a 2hour wait. There are quite a few places on the beach, along 98 that are good but can't think of the names off hand. I will let you know later if I can think of them. We are going back late September and will stay at the Majestic Sun, we love it there! Have fun!

Would you/Carpenter like to have a booth at the Mooresville Community Day? It's July 12 from 1-5:00 p.m.

We have the streets closed down like they do for the Chamber Mardi Gras, as well as the Citizen's Bank parking lot. It is free for you to set up a booth, and we are just asking that you make a donation for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Morgan County.

If you don't want to have a booth, and want to participate in some way, you are welcome to donate a prize or raffle item.
