Does anyone send their child to Childtime or another preschool close by? I am wanting to send my oldest in the fall and am looking for reviews, whether good or bad. Thanks!

My son attended the K4 program this year at Mooresville Christian school. It was so great! They have a full day program as well as 1/2 day. I will put their website below and you can check them out.

Our son is 4 years old and we have been using Childtime since he was 15 months old. We like using them but we came from a very bad experience using an in home day care service person in another neighborhood. We like Childtime because they are stable. We have only been called to pick up once because he got sick. Price is a bit high but we wanted stability. The only thing in my opinion that could be better is if they would retain there staff better. A new director every year, new teachers all the time.

I checked out Childtime and it wasn't really what I was looking for. I stay at home so I am really just looking for a preschool and felt like all they wanted to do was persuade me to enroll him full time. Then icing on the cake was they quoted me $150 a week for part time preschool - and I would be paying for a 2-hour nap each day. Needless to say we looked elsewhere!

We really want to use a private schol for our son as well and Mooresville Christian School is the only one we can locate around the neighborhood. What steps are needed to enroll there. We havn't called the school yet or anything. Time seems to be going to fast can't believe he will old enough for kindergarden.

The prices around here for the privite schools scared me. We were lucky and got our daughter into Holy Cross which is by my work so it will be close to me for drop off and pick up.

I don't know if you want to stay in Mooresville, but if not, Valley Mills Christian Church has an excellent pre-school that goes 3 days a week. They have morning and afternoon sessions. Both of my children went there and we loved it. The price is reasonable and the director is awesome and so are the teachers that we had. The church is on Kentucky Avenue, next to Flanner-Buchanan Mortuary. You can find more info at www.vmcc.org

Both of my oldest children attended Learn A Lot Christian Preschool which is in Spring Hill Christian Center off of 144 Just east of 67. I would highly recommend it! They are wonderful with the kids and they accept kids from 3 through kindergarten. After finishing kindergarten there my son was well ahead of the program when he started first grade at the public schools. They have very fair pricing and very little turnover. Many of the staff there now has been there since my first son started when he was 3 and he is now 9. If it is still the same the preschool program runs from 9am to 1pm. They also have before and after care for those who need it. We are planning on sending our daughter there also when she is ready. (she is only 2) They have recently opened another preschool in decatur, but it was the mooresville location on 144 we attended. Hope this helps!

I have a friend who used to work at Childtime, but left to work for another daycare facility. When I told her I was moving to Heartland Crossing she made me promise that I would not take my children there. She said that the administrators were terrible to the staff and that she would never send her children there based on what she observed in actual operation of the business. I did not ask any further questions and she did not go into detail. When it comes to children, that is all I needed to hear. I did not want some unhappy employee taking their frustration out on my children. :(

Wow, that is scary!

I went and toured the place and didn't like it at all. I'm very glad now that my son won't be going there. We're sending him to Tomorrow's Promise, I was really impressed with them when I visited.

We use Tommorow's Promise in Mooresville and love it.

yeah recently we also had problems with child time. We have used them for the last three years and recently something changed. Our some kept saying people were being mean to him and would beg not to go. So we talked to the dir and it basically (and unfortunatly ) confirmed what he was trying to say to us. Maybe they will change there structure. However we are now using another provider a little closer to downtown indianapolis and they are great. They cost about ten more dollars a week but so far our son seems to like it. He hasn't came home saying someone called him stupid and with bruises and bite marks.
