Theres no way in this lifetime hoa will pay for that, and probably not worth turning in on a homeowners policy due to deductables! My big question still is, where in the heck is the security patrol that we pay for in our annual dues?

You would be better off to call the association. If you do this right you shouldnt have any problems getting a veteran home for the holidays. Contact the paper let them know what your trying to do and also contact the VFW and see what their sugges...
